Common questions

How do I add a task?

Tap any empty space below your list. A new block freezes into place, ready for you to type. To add several in a row, tap the empty space again after typing each one.

How do I complete a task?

Tap its block to smash it. With the Difficulty feature on, you can set a task to take up to 10 taps; the number on the block's corner shows how many taps are left.

How do I edit a task, or delete it without completing it?

Tap the square pencil icon on the right of the block. You can change the wording there, set a reminder, and more. "Melt task" at the bottom deletes it.

Where are subtasks, notes, priorities, repeating tasks and multiple lists?

They're optional. Tap the gear in the bottom-right corner and turn on the ones you want under Features. Each then appears in a task's edit screen. With Multi lists on, tap the title at the top of the screen to switch lists.

How do repeating tasks work?

Set Repeat in a task's edit screen, for example every day or every Monday and Friday. When you smash a repeating task, it waits out of sight until its next day, then comes back. The ↻ ice cube next to the gear lists the tasks that are waiting, and can bring one back early.

How do I add the widget?

Press and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose TaskFrost. Tap a block in the widget to crack it.

Can I use Siri?

My reminders don't appear.

Open the iPhone Settings app, go to Apps → TaskFrost → Notifications, and turn on Allow Notifications.

Can I turn the sounds off?

Yes. Tap the gear, then choose "No sound" under Breaking sound. You'll still feel the vibrations.

Where are my tasks stored?

Only on your iPhone. TaskFrost has no accounts and doesn't send your data anywhere. See the privacy policy.
